This Valentine’s Day, Pet Rebellion is giving back!

Posted on 7 February 2022 Categories: Blog

In 2021, the number of dogs put up for adoption increased by 180% after ‘lockdown dogs’ were no longer able to be taken care of in their homes.
That is why this Valentine’s we are sharing the love with our local dog rescue charity. 20% of our profits from orders placed between 10th-17th February will be donated to SNDogs.

SNDogs is a registered, volunteer-run, dog rescue charity based in Swindon, Wiltshire. Their aim is to rescue and help the needy dogs of the local area.

SNDogs have different teams of volunteers that cover roles such as foster carers, dog walkers, event organisers, fundraisers as well as volunteers who manage admin work such as answering website enquiries.

The dogs that come into SNDogs stay with foster carers in their homes. They become a much-loved, temporary member of the family until they find their forever home. This has many benefits and teaches them skills such as how to interact with other dogs, meeting new people, toilet training and how to behave in a family home.

As well as local dogs, SNDogs also rescue from overseas; they take rescue/pound dogs from countries such as Spain and Romania and find them permanent homes in the UK.

All the dogs that come into the care of SNDogs are fully assessed, vaccinated, neutered, de-flead and microchipped, making sure they have the best chance at their new life. Vet’s bills are extremely expensive and are paid for with generous donations.

When you place an order with Pet Rebellion from 10th – 17th February, we’ll be donating 20% of our profits to help support the care of some of the amazing, resilient dogs at SNDogs.

Looking For Their Forever Home

SNDogs have plenty of success stories and hope to continue rehoming dogs into their forever home. Here are some of the lovely dogs who are currently looking for their forever home.

Lupin

Lupin is a gorgeous spaniel puppy looking for a home. He has a condition where he needs some assistance eating but is otherwise a happy little pup. See more about Lupin.

Tom

Tom is a lovely but slightly nervous 2-year-old pinscher cross. He is okay with children and cats and is very affectionate. He loves his food and walks well on a lead. See more about Tom.

Mambo

Mambo is a 10–13-year-old Labrador who can live with children, calm dogs and cats. He was rescued from a pound in Spain. He is a very loving dog who enjoys slow, short walks. Of course, being a Lab, he loves his food! See more about Mambo.
